- Prior to this ritual, pray to Anubis three consecutive nights. During the prayers, give offerings to Anubis.
- Wear respectable clothing, preferably black or black and gold ceremonial robes.
- Using red chalk/paint create a pentagram on the floor and a circle surrounding it touching each of the 5 points.At each end of the pentagram, make sure to put a symbol of his.
