If the vital energy is stuck in the upper part of your body, it can be made to flow in the lower part of the body through the Qi Gong technique called “Microcosmic Orbit”.
According to this technique there are 3 important energy centers which balance the kundalini psychosis or transcendence.
- The first is in your navel centre which is 1 inch below the navel.
- Second solar plexus region i.e. place of Sahasrar Chakra
- The third Ajna chakra located in your head area
If you are doing any practice and due to which energy is stuck in your Ajna chakra area, then by practicing this technique, you can take the energy back to the navel centre.
- Sit in the posture of easy meditation and keep your back straight. Feel yourself like a mannequin that is attached to the stars. One end of the wire is attached to the lower part of your head. Now pull this wire upwards. This helps in getting your head in the right position.
- Touch the tongue to the upper part of the mouth and try to speak N.
- Now when you are sitting straight, the head is in the right position and the tongue is also touching the upper part, then close your eyes and start imagining. A golden substance is falling down from the upper part of your head which is going through your tongue to the neck, stomach and finally to the navel centre.
- The more you push your tongue backwards, the more liquid goes down. (In Sanatan Dharma it is also called the practice of Khechari Mudra)
- As this fluid is going to the navel centre Dan Tien, similarly a golden light is being felt in your body. Now your brain is feeling light.
This practice can solve the tension of your brain but it is not 100% cure. You still need to look for the triggers that are causing this condition.
If you are repeatedly going through kundalini psychosis or transcendence then this method will not be very effective.
If this does not happen then this prana energy can get trapped in the upper part again. Although you can feel relief again through the Microcosmic Orbit technique, but to prevent it from happening again, it would be better to identify it.
Perform mindfulness instead of one-point focus meditation
In the practice of meditation or Tratak Sadhana, one focuses on one place. Our consciousness is fixed at one point but, it is not right to do so every time.
If you are feeling heaviness in your brain after meditation or tratak, then instead of focusing on one place in meditation, try to stay in the present. Mindfulness meditation is not a practice linked to any one part.
It focuses on every part of your body, due to which the flow of energy becomes equal in every part. You can easily balance kundalini psychosis or transcendence.
Mindfulness meditation instead of focusing your concentration on any one place, it flows equally on every centre.
Just after 15-20 minutes of sitting in a comfortable posture and feeling the thoughts coming in the brain, you start feeling a change in your consciousness.

Whenever you feel that energy is getting stuck in any one part of the body, instead of meditation, start practicing mindfulness.
Use grounding exercises
Such exercises in which we connect the body with the earth element are part of grounding exercises. This is the easiest way to balance kundalini psychosis or transcendence.
There are many basic exercises in fitness, qi gong, yoga and bioenergetics. I’ll mention a few that I like the most and you can try them for yourself:
- Squats – If your goal is to reduce the energy of the head, then this exercise shows its effect at a very slow level.
- Ground breathing – Often when our energy is too stuck, belly or pelvis breathing is not as effective. Instead breathe into the balls of your feet and it will become balanced. This exercise becomes easy by pressing and releasing the lower part of the foot.
- Elliot Hulse’s “Charge and Ground” bioenergetics routine is sometimes helpful. You can try this exercise.

Reduce fire and air elements in diet, relationships, and activities
If you are associated with Spiritual practice, then you must know about the elements. Elements play an important role in influencing our nature and behaviour.
If you do not keep these elements in balance, then they can trouble you.
Due to the imbalance of the air element in the body, you experience the energy being trapped in the brain. Air element is predominant in creative people, but in a balanced state, therefore they are able to generate better ideas.
If you are unable to think properly or feel heaviness in your mind, then understand that the air element is trapped in the upper part of your body. To balance kundalini psychosis or transcendence, maintain the balance of fire and air elements.

Recognize your triggers
